Van Buren Judgment Records Split

A local quirk affects Crawford County court-related records. The land-record site states that judgments, decrees, and orders filed after January 2, 2015 are no longer numbered and available on that land-record site. Older numbered judgments, decrees, and orders remain there. Newer searches move to Arkansas Judiciary case search.

That boundary can save time. A judgment from before January 2, 2015 may appear in the land-record system, especially when it ties to recording history. A later order belongs in Search ARCourts or with the circuit clerk's court file process. The rule also helps explain why a name may appear in one Crawford County records portal but not another.

Van Buren Records Offices

Crawford County records are unusually compact because Van Buren is both the city and the county seat. Van Buren Vital Records

Recent Arkansas vital records are not open courthouse files. The Arkansas Department of Health controls certified statewide birth, death, marriage coupon, and divorce coupon orders. Van Buren City Records

City records do not all live in the county portal. The Van Buren City Clerk/Treasurer handles ordinances, resolutions, City Council minutes, records requests, business licenses, dog licenses, garage sale permits, budgets, and audits. Registry and custody data should be used for public safety awareness and verification. Do not use it to threaten, harass, shame, or republish sensitive details outside a lawful purpose.

Van Buren Records Limits

Not every government file is an open record. Arkansas and local rules restrict recent vital records, juvenile cases, sealed or expunged cases, adoption files, medical details, motor-vehicle personal information, secure-voter addresses, address-confidentiality data, and sensitive identifiers such as Social Security numbers or driver license numbers.
